Welcome to FrameSight Pro. We deeply care about your privacy. Simply put:
FrameSight Pro is a 100% locally operated tool. We do not collect your personal information or any of your media files.

1. Local Processing & Serverless

FrameSight Pro is a native macOS application that runs entirely on your device. All image and video comparisons, as well as rendering calculations, happen locally. We do not maintain any external API endpoints to receive, upload, or process your files. Your creations, design assets, and testing data stay exclusively on your Mac.

2. File Access (Security-Scoped Bookmarks)

To natively import and manage your files within the app, FrameSight Pro requires your explicit permission to access specific files or folders. We utilize macOS's native Security-Scoped Bookmarks to persist these permissions safely. This simply allows your selected folders to reload instantly upon relaunching the app, without demanding repeated authorizations. These bookmark references are stored locally and encrypted by the system, never transmitted anywhere.

3. Anonymous Analytics (Apple App Analytics)

Since FrameSight is distributed via the Mac App Store, we rely solely on Apple's built-in App Analytics. If you have explicitly enabled "Share Mac Analytics with Developers" in your macOS System Settings, we may receive completely anonymized crash logs and installation statistics. This data contains zero personally identifiable information and is used exclusively for squashing bugs and improving app stability.

4. Website Analytics

This website (not the FrameSight app) uses Google Analytics 4 on English pages and Baidu Tongji on Chinese pages to count visits, traffic sources and clicks on Mac App Store buttons. These services may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser information under their own privacy policies. We also store a short channel label (for example, the campaign tag of the link you followed) in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days, and add it to Mac App Store links so we can see which channels bring downloads in Apple's aggregated App Store Connect reports. We never receive your Apple ID or any purchase details tied to you. The FrameSight app itself contains no third-party analytics.

5. Subscription Status from Apple

When you start, renew, cancel or get a refund for a FrameSight Pro purchase, Apple sends our server a signed notification about that transaction (product, dates, price, country or region, offer type and Apple's anonymous transaction IDs). It does not include your name, email address or Apple ID. We use it only to count trials, conversions and refunds, and never to identify you.

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. If significant changes occur, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
